Real Solutions: Net Zero Gone!!

It has been a great week for Australia.

A great week for you!

The federal Liberal Party has decided to drop Net Zero as a policy.

This has been a long time coming and I’m glad it’s finally happened.

It means Australians will have a real choice at the next election.

Do you want affordable, reliable power?

Or do you want to chase Labor’s artificial Net Zero emissions target at all costs … and for no benefit?

That’s a real and important difference.

It’s a real ground where you and I can fight.

The Coalition is now focused on making life cheaper, while Labor lectures and berates you for not being happy with your rising power bills.

Despite what the media and green activists say, Australians are not all in on Net Zero.

Remember, it wasn’t that long ago Tony Abbott won a massive majority promising to dump Labor’s carbon tax – a platform the same media said was electoral poison.

Just as Abbott exposed the true cost and non-existent benefits of the carbon tax, our job now is to reveal the same flaws in Net Zero and fight for an energy system that works in the interest of Australians.

While I’ve been fighting for this for some time, along with some of my colleagues, above all this is a victory for you and for all my supporters.

I can tell you that of the 25,209 people who responded to my recent supporter survey a massive 95.7 per cent were against Net Zero.

Unbelievable numbers, but it goes to show how big this is for you and me.

I’m glad the Liberal Party’s position now reflects your views!

And I’m ready to get out there and fight for it.

Congratulations again!

Now the real battle begins.
