Dear P2,

I’m angry.

We used to be a country that said we don’t negotiate with terrorists.

But the decision of the Albanese Labor government to recognise a Palestinian state is not even a negotiation.
It’s a capitulation and the terrorists are celebrating.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists murdered, tortured, raped and kidnapped Israelis with glee.

Families, women, children, babies.

All targeted by this barbaric listed terrorist organisation.

And now they’re being rewarded.

Remember: Hamas are still holding hostages.

Albanese says recognising statehood is “conditional” on releasing the hostages.

But it’s not really, because Albanese and Labor will recognise Palestine anyway.

The fact is Hamas wants to exterminate Israel.

They are willing to use the Palestinian people as pawns to achieve that goal.

It’s not difficult to understand. It never has been.

Until Hamas is defeated, a two-state solution isn’t even conceivable and there can be no peaceful future for the people of Gaza.

Ever since Israel withdrew from Gaza and Hamas took control eighteen years ago, Hamas have used billions in international aid to amass weapons, build an underground tunnel network, and attack Israel, culminating in the slaughter of October 7.

And our government has taken their side.

If the Albanese Government truly believes in a better life for Palestinians and a two-state solution, it would lend its full support to Israel’s military response to rid the world of a death cult.

Instead, Labor has lost their moral compass and is using this for their own domestic political purposes. To gain praise from a terror organisation is an absolute failure in leadership.

It’s disgraceful.

And I’m not going to forget it.
