Bit going on at the moment. Just had a change in government here in Queensland, about to have a change of government in America. Elections also in Georgia. The other Georgia. Lots to cover, or not.

The Prime Minister being harangued by the press for taking and requesting upgrades on Qantas flights. For allegedly blocking Qatar from operating more flights out of Australia. I might be a fucking idiot but is that a bad thing? I’m more of a free market capitalist than ‘Waleed Overell’ or “Mao Hussey” and even I’d rather let the flag carrier pig out on international travel to Europe. If you have no money but also have unquenchable wanderlust, you can fly Scoot. You don’t know rawdogging until you’ve flown Scoot to Berlin via Singapore. All you get for your base fare is a shitty plastic chair. Last time I did that, the bloke next to me took 3 bars of Xanax and slept with his eyes open almost all the way to Europe. Ruined my vibe completely. I kept having to listen for his breathing.

And if I even get on a plane to go home to my native Hong Kong and Mr Albo is sitting in economy with me, I’d be worried. Or I’d just think he was cheap. Or him buying that ugly house on the Central Coast. Honestly, how wasn’t the narrative that he was binning his Dulwich Hill (shithole) investment property, Jodie was binning her flat and they were buying a house designed by a blind person up at Copa to be closer to family? That like millions of other people his age, he had the rare and disgusting privilege of buying property in Sydney in the mid-90s and 2000s and he shouldn’t have to apologise for being a millionaire. Not because he’s clever or good at his job, but because he was born in 1963. It’s all dumb as shit.

Anyway, back Land Legend in the Melbourne Cup.
