No worries P2, it's only $30 mil thus far with another $40 mil or so to go. They will just trim a bit from the Australian pensioners, maybe shave a little from the poorest schools in Aus, probably even scrape a bit from some black spot road project. It's what Australian governments do best, take from their own to fund other countries who get in a pickle by their own hands.....it's an effing joke. Considering Australia's so called 'fiscal nightmare' $70 mil is a lot of coin to spend on a goose chase, a goose chase of which some pretty powerful nations know a lot more than they are willing to reveal ( and no, not our poor excuse of a nation). Our dismal ATSB has cut back on Investigators in the past 12 months, allowing hundreds of years of experience to walk out the door to save Beaker a few pennies from his proverbial money tin, and months later the Government coughs up $70 mil for a pre-orchestrated flexing of political prowess??? FFS this is a travesty. What in the name of wooly beards are the media doing? Are they really that asleep at the wheel??
