Now, I knew for a certain fact that there were Scones in the oven; being a sensible sort, I downed tools, promised the dogs a crust or two, a headed off to DT's domain and 'boiled the Billy' to make tea. Peace reigned, idly watching Sky News until - THIS – was aired.
Disgust and fury spoiled the day. 'We' at AP have watched Sterle's antics as chair in Estimates, and before, for long while now; I doubt any of the BRB would shout him beer – 'nuf said. We have had reports of meetings and even attended one or two – where he has nodded off during and never had a reply or response to the topics. However, all that is just part of the 'game' played in Sleepy Hollow. But this exhibition today unveiled that which we suspected as being 'hidden'. Exposed for all the world to see.
Over the years; many an Ale has been 'sipped' in the company of those who drive for a living; from the big rigs to the timber truck to the cattle trains and anything in between; almost all 'good blokes'. I reckon if Sterle spoke like that to a bar maid, or the petrol check out, or the waitress in the Cafe; 'words' would spoken. Sterle would need the Gods help if he spoke in that manner to their nearest and dearest. FFS – what do you imagine the 'big hitters' - domestic or foreign – will make of this revealing of his true nature? In my world, it would be a knuckle sandwich and good night Vienna.
Resignation and apology is not enough; but it would be a start. Workplace rules? Anyone? – this exhibition was in the 'Tedibly PC' heart of the nation, in a Senate Estimates, in the 'houses of Parliament, in public, on camera and disgusting.
Bravo Sen McKenzie; well done and as they say in the classics – Have at 'em (big time)..
Illegitimi non carborundum
Cheers and best wishes from the Aunty Pru / BRB fan club.

During Senate Estimates on Wednesday, Ms McKenzie questioned Airservices Australia when she sought advice about a public interest immunity claim.
Labor Senator Glenn Sterle repeatedly interjected, insisting the matter had already been taken on notice when Ms McKenzie told him she was not asking for his advice.
“Good, I’ll go back to doing something more important and listen to the drool that keeps coming along here,” Mr Sterle said.
He then accused Ms McKenzie of delaying proceedings and “embarrassing” the committee by keeping interstate witnesses waiting.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has refused to reprimand Labor Senator Glenn Sterle for his conduct towards Nationals Senator Bridget McKenzie, despite promising to make workplaces more respectful for women.
“Senator Caddell, I know if it was you and me, we’d negotiate something, or if it were anyone else … but for some reason, Senator McKenzie runs the show,” Mr Sterle said.
“And that’s fine, but you will never give me an answer. And then what you will do is embarrass the committee.”

The extraordinary comments came just two days after Mr Sterle threatened to “cut up” Ms McKenzie during another heated Senate Estimates clash.
“I’m happy to have that (trucking) debate on any forum, any stage, anywhere in Australia, because I’ll cut you up,” Mr Sterle said on Monday.
“Metaphorically, yes, I’ll carve you up, is what I should say,” he said.
The exchange deteriorated further when he described Ms McKenzie as an “ignoramus” and asked to swap seats so he could “educate” her about trucking.
SkyNews.com.au contacted Senator Sterle to ask whether he would apologise for his latest remarks but did not receive a response.
Mr Sterle apologised for the "cut you up" comments, saying he would not repeat them and admitting his "frustrations boiled over".
The behaviour has raised questions about Labor’s repeated pledges to improve standards of behaviour and create more respectful workplaces for women.
Nationals Senator Ross Cadell accused Labor of hypocrisy, arguing senior ministers would react very differently if another senator had behaved the same way.
“Senators Wong or Gallagher would be in back-to-back press conferences calling for the sacking of an opposition senator who said the same or similar things,” he told SkyNews.com.au.
“Senator Sterle is lucky Bridget is more interested in working on real policy than the politics of playing this up.”
MTF? Probably not, after all we are talking about the most Left Wing Socialist Govt, led by the worst and most gutless PM in my lifetime at least
