Considering that many certified aircraft will now be re-classified as LSA, then the Repairman certificate will be all that will be needed to maintain these aircraft.
FAR requirement for training a repairman is a 12-day course and 2-day course as explained in the link below.
GA AMOs will need to employ LSRM if the FAR system is fully adopted.
Types of aircraft: Bristol aircraft MOSAIC Ready
If CASA is to maintain a safety level as good as the FAA, then they need to adopt and implement word for word to improve the current safety standards.
Rainbow Aviation Reviews MOSAIC Maintenance issues
The A&P is taken as being capable of maintaining MOSAIC aircraft.
Can the B1.2 or B1.4 if it is a MOSAIC helicopter maintain these aircraft?
Maybe CASA should have adopted the EASR B3 or maybe the A&P mechanic would have been the right solution.
We now have a licencing getting out of sync with the types of aircraft.
Will CASA adopt the FAA Repairman standards and training standards?
Will CASA work with ASQA to provide training?
Or will the training be provided by CASA or a CASA approved entity?
