However K, obviously there’s some distinction between aviatorship and airmanship which escapes me.

But now that I come to mention it, the word “airmanship” always niggled me because what’s so superhuman about flying? There are all sorts of activities that require a combination of finely honed manipulative skills, and sometimes near instantaneous judgement coupled with the responsibility for the lives of passengers and crew.
But can’t think of too many, surgeons perhaps? Sailing another but that doesn’t come near in terms of complexity, so maybe we are gods after all.

In which case to make out that flying is some extreme form of ability only available to the high and mighty we might be promoting a dangerous egomaniacal exceptionalism that could lead to bad accidents.

As far as filling that C210, my advice would be to negate that 20kg problem, you don’t quite fill it then the mermaids would have to find their scales which they don’t bother with much these days.

Tip, for some Cessna twins, quite a few extra litres of fuel might be carried in the mains with a little known technique, but there’s a few wrinkles to be discussed.
